Tracing of components from layout to circuit and vice versa. identification and location of critical components fault simulation, diagnosis & troubleshooting on component level. Testing of voltages on PCB using test jigs / boxes. hardware troubleshooting technique & fault finding chart. SMD & BGA reworking ,solder ball formation etc.jumper application.

Mobilephone repairs ( with Software ).

Computer fundamentals, study of  microprocessor / microcontroller controlled systems & memory storage devices CPU, ROM, RAM .Comparison with mobilephone logic architecture. Phone types, Families & versions. Compatibility, identification of various platforms ex DCT - 3, DCT - 4, DCTL, WD2  etc. Study of various flashing & unlocking softwares / dongles / kits. practical repair procedures, ex; flashing, version upgrade, downgrade, changing of versions etc, resetting counters / timers, manufacturing dates etc. all unlocking procedures, phone security, Network / SIM locks. Loading of fancy software etc. Fault finding, "Contact service / retailer" solutions. identification of hardware / software faults.
